Mead & Hunt Partners with Operation Song for Upcoming AAAE Conference

In a tale stretching back to the dawn of the 20th century, Mead & Hunt remains steadfast in its commitment to prioritizing people. As an employee-owned firm specializing in architectural, engineering, planning, and construction services, Mead & Hunt is committed to innovation and fostering a legacy for generations to come. They take pride in their Veterans-Military Interest Group, a vital part of its Employee Resource Group program, designed to support its active-duty and veteran employees and their families.

Mead & Hunt is an exhibitor at this year’s American Association of Airport Executives Conference & Exposition, and announces its partnership with Operation Song® for the event! As the 96th Annual AAAE Conference & Exposition descends upon Nashville April 28 - May 1 this year, Mead & Hunt stands shoulder to shoulder with Operation Song® and our mission to empower veterans, active-duty military members, and their families through the art of songwriting.

Mead & Hunt honors us with their support by providing three of its esteemed veteran clients with the opportunity to partake in the songwriting process. Each veteran has been paired with a skilled tunesmith who, after listening intently to their tales, is crafting a heartfelt melody to immortalize their experiences.

“We are exceptionally grateful for a continued partnership with Mead & Hunt in the service of our nations veterans and their families,” says Jon Foti, CEO of Operation Song. “Events such as these are incredible opportunities to honor veteran employees and stakeholders in our community. By sharing veterans stories across their organization, Mead & Hunt is significantly contributing to a culture of support and appreciation for the sacrifice of veterans, active military, and their families.”

But the harmony doesn't stop there. Mead & Hunt is set to host a special Writers Round Table session at the upcoming AAAE client event, where Operation Song's gifted songwriters will introduce their veteran partners and perform their compositions live on stage. It's an evening of remembrance and gratitude, where we come together to honor the brave souls who have served our country.
