Caterpillar Financial Retreat + Performance

What an incredible day with the Caterpillar Financial Retreat Performance on Wednesday, November 1. We had the privilege of writing with six employees from Caterpillar (CAT) Financial, and yesterday closed out our corporate retreat with a performance held at their headquarters here in Nashville.

The event was attended by more than 50 employees and executives from the organization, as well as family members of the veterans who participated and wrote these beautiful songs:

  • “Goodbye for Now,” written by Maggie Early with songwriter, Mark Irwin.

  • “A Perfectly Good Plane,” written by Matt Spiker with songwriter, Steve Williams.

  • “I Hope That For You,” written by Hunter Lyle with songwriter, Doug Gill.

  • “It’s Part Of Me,” written by Eric Milligan with songwriter, Rob Crosby.

  • “Baby Girl,” written by Katie Perry with songwriter, Pete Sallis.

  • “The Sacrifice,” written by Doug Oysten with songwriter, Brian White.

Maria Sheffield, president of CAT Financial, presented Operation Song® with a beautiful CAT Tractor, and we commemorated the event by presenting them with our very first Operation Song® Gold Album. We are grateful to Caterpillar Financial for their hospitality and service to their veterans and military families, and look forward to collaborating again in 2024.
