Another Successful Warriors Heart Retreat Yields 4 New Songs

Operation Song®, and our partners at Warriors Heart, conducted its ninth retreat at the Warriors Heart Lodge in Bandera, Texas on Monday, August 14. The Texas heat was a formidable foe, reaching 105 degrees, but that wasn’t enough to keep our Texas Troubadours from writing four incredible songs.
We had the honor of not only writing with military veterans, but first responders as well. Our songwriters gave an amazing performance, and the participants shared their stories in a manner that left everyone in attendance, grateful and humbled.
We want to thank these participants for sharing their stories with us: DJ Comes, Michelle Francisco, Mike Pugh and Abdeil Reyes. Our songwriters included Jessee Lee, Tom McElvain, Dickie Kaiser and Chad Boyd.
